Road Trip! Sept 13, 2023

Join us for a fun-filled day as WREN takes a luxury coach and explores more amazing places on Vancouver Island. We'll be visiting a very special pre-fab manufacturer, Cameron Contracting - a family-owned and operated custom home builder in the Comox Valley. Don Cameron, the owner, will give our group a personalized tour and really open your eyes to what's possible in the new world of manufactured homes. Who knew you could build a six-story condo and deliver to site almost complete!

We'll be then setting off for the Mediterranean-like vineyard country of Vancouver Island, grabbing some light fare, tasting some local product and enjoying the last rays of summer sun. On the return leg, we'll be stopping at of one of our favourites, Unsworth Vineyards. Another family-owned operation, "Small production by design, we focus on handcrafted wines of distinction using signature techniques that showcase the very best of the fruit we grow."
